Dia de Los Reyes Magos (three kings day) is a Latin holiday that commemorates the arrival of the 'magos' wise men / kings in Matthew 2, visiting baby Jesus. This holiday is also called Epiphany by so called Christian denominations: Roman Catholic, Baptist, Orthodox- and other names by countries who celebrate it in different ways as well. We will quickly show you why this holiday (regardless of what name it's given, the exact celebration day, who celebrates it or how it's celebrated) is unbiblical and should not be celebrated by true saints of God. For this post we will focus on the Latin traditions of this day.
• This celebration, conducted 12 days after the pagan Christmas day (see Christmas exposed HERE) is not found in scripture and God did not command His people to celebrate it (only God makes days holy). Saints of God are to avoid pagan traditions of which the origins of this day are.
2 Corinthians 6:14-16 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? [15] And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? [16] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
• Just as Christmas is merged with the pagan solstice, research shows that Dia de los Reyes is based from pagans celebrating the rebirth of their sun god and some say a celebration of honoring the goddess of three in one. Do your own research and see all the paganism involved and ask yourself, why would people who say they love and follow Christ, want to merge with another pagan day of sun / false god-godess worship?
2 Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
• Rosca de Reyes (three kings bread) is a sweet bread made for this holiday, baked in an oval or round ring shape to supposedly resemble a crown of the kings or the never ending love of God, but look back at the pagans and see that their tradition of baking breads in a ring shape was for eternity and the concept was adopted by the so called Christians. (Just like all the paganism of Christ-mass.)
Mark 7:6-8
He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. [7] Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
• Baked inside the Rosca de Reyes is a little toy baby which is meant to resemble baby Jesus, and whoever gets the piece with the baby has to host another pagan holiday called Dia de la Candelaria (Candlemas). That tradition stems from the pagans who used to cook a bean in their bread and if you had the piece with the bean you could be a temporary king. What a mockery they make of Jesus, baking a reference of him in a bread and then using it as a token to prepare for another pagan holiday.
Galatians 6:7-8
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. [8] For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
• Notice they call it Three kings day and three kings bread? Where does the Bible say there were only 3? The bible never teaches there were three wise men (kings) so this is a lie.
Revelation 22:18-19 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: [19] And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
• Research shows varying customs and traditions of the pagan holiday of opening gifts on Dia de los Reyes with the so called 3 kings (wise men) delivering them the night before. (Children put out hay and grass for the camels, leaving out shoes for gifts to be put in and by them.) What lies and mysticism they teach their children, just like santa is a lie and many teach that as well.
Luke 17:1-2 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! [2] It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
* Most people who practice such man made traditions are also part of the man made religious denominational / non-denomination system which practice many other lies including all the pagan holidays (Christmas, Easter, good Friday and many more), they're of the world (sports, politics, entertainment) and feminized (women not biblically head covering, neither men nor women biblically dressing) and don't show the fruit of truly being born again by the biblical gospel which you can test yourself to HERE.
The New Testament body of Christ would never practice such man made, pagan ways because they were a called out, set apart people following after Christ, not following after the world (satan's kingdom) and it's ways. Paul said keep the traditions he handed down. 2 Thess 2:15.
Repent of Dia de Los Reyes and any other pagan, unbiblical, man made so called holidays and seek the kingdom of God in spirit and truth or your worship is in vain.
