Nov 2025We were driving down the gospel road and we saw a man on the corner with a sign. Sister Aman handed him a gospel card (he was on her side) and later he (Roger) emailed me. It didn't go well from the start as he had sent me some written items, some unbiblical materials that lacked full truth and he needed more holy word and truth. Also, I had a simple typo in my response back to him and he asked me if I was a drunk or drug addict? He said he used to preach the gospel as a drunk so he was asking about me. A strange man he is but since I care about all souls; I asked him what is the gospel path to eternal life. Below is his common heretical answer in black with my correcting/refuting response ***** in blue to edify others.
Note: Under Fair Use I didn't need his permission but when asked he agreed with me refuting his email in full here.
Enjoy and be edified by this email refuting.....

Hey, Tupos, I told you that I didn't mind sharing the gospel message with you one bit, and I meant it. I posted this on Facebook a few days ago, and I decided to share this with you, as well. It's not the conventional presentation, but it's DEFINITELY the truth, 100%!
***** Roger has some truth but like false teachers and Satan, he also has error and this email is greatly lacking truth. See Genesis 3 and Matthew 4
'I'm Gonna Make You Uncomfortable!' 11-13-2025
I want to talk to you for a little while about the gospel of Jesus Christ and present it in a way that you have probably never heard it before.
**** I have heard this many times from heretical false teachers like him. Jesus warned of this deception in the last days in Matthew 24
I am going to make what will be considered by many to be a heretical statement, but please hear me out. We don’t NEED another presentation of the gospel the way that it has been presented! For the most part, it's useless to preach the same thing to the lost over and over again.
***** I would agree as we are not to cast pearls to those who don't want it but we are called to PREACH the biblical gospel. See Mark 16
They've heard it before, and they weren't impressed!
**** Of course the world is not impressed as the message of the stake (cross) is foolishness to them 1 Cor 1:18
The gospel message needs the same thing that Jesus did to the law in Matthew chapter five: a CLARIFICATION!
***** Actually the complete gospel wasn't available in Matthew 5 as Jesus there was explaining the kingdom of God. Read 1 Cor 15:1-4 after Christ finished His perfect work and there we see the gospel per Paul. It is Christ's death burial and resurrection with our response to it.
And the clarification comes from a new understanding of why we need to be saved. You see, the whole problem between God and man can be easily summed up in two words: dead spirit! Man has a dead spirit, which separates him from God.
**** Notice he uses no scripture. While we do need to be made alive; the real problem is sin and death not a dead spirit. Noah and many others after Adam choose to serve God in obedience and they didn't have dead spirits. They had a fallen spirit but it wasn't dead was it? We are indeed dead in sin without Christ headed to physical death then hell fire second eternal death. Romans 6:23
The only way to remedy that is to swallow your pride, repent, and ask Jesus to make you into a new creature in Christ.
***** I agree with these elements per 2 Cor 5:17 but this man Roger makes it far more twisted/perverted as we go.
And to repent doesn't mean that you quit sinning (although a changed heart WILL fuel a desire to stop sinning). To repent actually means that you changed your mind (in other words, realized that you can't get into heaven on your own merits and you need Jesus to get you there).
**** Here is twisting of the scriptures as I warned you about. It is true we do not enter eternal life on our own merit but; false teachers often say repenting is just changing your mind but in that they tell truth and they lie. It is a turning of the mind yes; but it is also to turn away from sin to obedience. Go read Rev 2 and 3 where Jesus Himself tells the people to REPENT and to stop their sin / false ways.
But, how did this 'dead spirit' happen? It all goes back to the Garden of Eden and the failure of Adam and Eve to obey God. You see, man is a three-part being: body (the exterior that you see), soul (who you are: mind, will, and emotions), and spirit (the portion of man that exists forever: either separated from God in hell or living with Jesus in heaven).
*** This is true; except for the dead spirit part that isn't biblical. Notice he uses no scriptures?
God told them that if they ate it, in that day they would die. But the Bible says that Adam lived to be 930 years old. So did God lie? Absolutely not! The SPIRIT of man died in that moment, and that is why they were kicked out of the garden. Every man is born with a dead spirit because of the sin of Adam.
**** Notice he uses no scriptures? And his term "born with a dead spirit" here is not biblical. It isn't a biblical concept as man is born in a fallen nature with a spirit and his dead in his sins (Eph 2:1) but not a dead spirit. James says if the spirit leaves the body you are actually dead. (James 2:26) Roger is confusing dead in sin with being actually dead, as in your spirit gone from the body. God tossed them out over sin, Adam had to physically die due to sin and that was the issue, not a spirit death instantly as Roger claims as Adam couldn't live on all those years with a dead spirit. Of course man is fallen, he is dead to Gods truth and he in darkness and he needs new life. (the holy spirit) There is also a second death, that is in hell. But Paul says the issue is sin and death but not a dead spirit the way Roger states it. See Romans 5;12
Except for Jesus. Jesus is the exception to this because He didn’t have an earthly father (He was born of a virgin). And THAT is why the virgin birth is so important, and why it's opposed so strongly, because that's the only way that Jesus could be an acceptable sacrifice for us.
**** This is just not true as it wasn't Jesus virgin birth alone that made Him our perfect sacrifice, This is showing this man Roger is a terrible teacher. It was also His perfect sinless life that made Him sin for us. 2 Cor 5:21 / The virgin birth had to be as Jesus was God with us (Emanuel) as He was fully God and fully man, He was the God man! His Father was THE Father in heaven. His lived out perfect life made Him the perfect sacrifice; NOT His virgin birth. Note: Jesus didn't have a earthly Father so he could be God with us. He didn't have an earthly Father because it proved He was GOD WITH US. Roger is way off on this point!
I tell people that your sin is simply a symptom of the real problem, kinda like chronic diarrhea is, many times, just a symptom of colon cancer. The cancer is the true problem, NOT the diarrhea. And it's the same with sin. Sin is simply a symptom of the dead spirit. I hope that this explanation of the true problem is helpful. Remember that I love you guys and I'm praying for you!
**** This is a strange, weird example and it is also not true. Sin and death IS the real issue and man is guilty of it, not like some disease at all! We are able to choose by our will good or evil. The truth is we are all "affected by the fall" yes, but we have to ability to NOT choose sin. This is a common Calvinist heresy that man cannot choose and we need to be born again to ever choose God. Moses and Joshua said choose this day whom you will serve long before the infilling holy spirit came in Acts 2 / Saying man is affected and is not able to choose is not true as in Acts 5:29 it says; God makes men born again who choose to obey Him. More confusion and error from Roger that he needs to repent of.
That's the post that I put up a few days ago explaining to people how to be saved. I have been on your website and watched some of your street preaching, and I have also read through your statement of faith. You're bold with your preaching, and that is a good thing. However, there are several things in your statement of faith that are troubling, to say the least.
****** At least he read some of the truth on my website but its obvious he isn't much of a fertile field sadly. See the talent parable in Matt 25 and maybe this email will help him wake up.
I want to talk about the one issue that really stood out to me. You say that salvation is not by faith alone in Christ, but that you must endure and work in order to be truly saved in the end.
That directly contradicts what the apostle Paul said in Romans 10:9,
***** First not one verse says faith alone anywhere as we aren't saved by faith alone. Eph 2:8-9 we are saved by grace through faith. A saving faith obeys and endures per many verses. Here you see more confusion Roger brings as he believes; I guess, you don't have to endure to the end? But later in this email he says OSAS is a lie and you have to endure???? He references Romans 10:9...if you confess with your mouth you will be saved. Many false men isolate that verse but there is MUCH MORE to salvation then calling on His name. Read all of Romans and the entire NT word. Even Roger said above we have to REPENT but now he says all we have to do is say Jesus! That is another false way Roger speaks. A Romans 10 just call on Jesus gospel is an easy believe, false accursed gospel per Gal 1!
and also in Acts 16:31, just to name a couple of places where this is told to us.
***** Here he references Acts 16;31 ... believe on Jesus and be saved. Clearly; even the demons believe and wont be saved. This is another easy believe twisted and perverted false gospel of Roger and churchianity. Acts goes on to tell much more about salvations path. Note: While Roger speaks against churchianity, he attends it still to please man so; he is in hypocrisy and he must repent of that or perish.
Let me interject something here. I agree with you 100% that OSAS is wrong and unbiblical. But, neither can you lose your salvation 'at the drop of a hat', either.
**** So now he says he doesn't believe in OSAS but you see he claims one cant easily lose your salvation either. So any willful unrepentented sin doesn't cause you to lose your salvation Roger? What about Simon in Acts 8 where Peter warns him to repent or perish over one sin? How about Acts 5 where a husband and wife are killed for one sin? Or how about Rev 21 and 22 that says ONE LIE puts you out of the kingdom Roger? This man needs to stop writing materials and study the scriptures more.
God seals the believer when they become a new creature in Christ,
**** Eph 1 says the holy spirit is a earnest ...that's a down payment for a deal yet to be completed. It needs endurance folks. I have teachings on it on my teaching page. It is NOT a guarantee or men could sin on willfully and God would be bound to save them and he would be mocked! Oh no Roger ... you can lose the Spirit and die eternally via willful sin.... that is called falling away; its all over the scriptures! Like Heb 10:26 .... we get no sacrifice for willful sin.
and Jesus said in John 10:28 that He gives us eternal life, and no one can pluck us out of the Father's hand.
**** So he does believe in OSAS. He is a double minded confused man. This only means Jesus wont lose anyone. Jesus told us if we don't forgive we wont be forgiven (Mark 11;26) so we can remove ourselves via sin and rebellion. That is simple bible 101 stuff but Roger and churchianity has it all wrong so I point to truth here to help them.
But we are not stripped of our free will when we repent, and we can choose to walk away later, after we are renewed. That is the ONLY way for a person to 'lose' their salvation.
***** Wrong Roger! I already showed above willful unrepented sin will damn you. Roger you agreed that sin was mans separation issue but now you think you can sin on and be right with God? No, read Romans 6:16-18 .... obedience to life or sin unto death per Paul.
Concerning the issue of enduring, as you very well know, Jesus taught on this topic in more than one place. Let’s look at one of those places.
Matthew 10:22 (KJV)
"[22] And ye shall be hated of all men for My name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved."
I am in complete agreement with the truth found here.
**** Roger is all over the map on doctrine as you can see. Yes we must endure to the end for salvation. By faith in Christ John 3;16 / we must repent of all sin Luke 13:3 / be made new John 3;3 / walk in holy obedience / Heb 5:9 and endure to the end Matt 10:39. That is the gospel to eternal life and it is all over my website.
But I want you to read the following excerpt.
'One time three men came to me with knives and said, “We will take your life unless you deny Jesus.” I always thought if that moment came, I would deny Jesus, then ask for forgiveness later. But I don’t know, something happened at that moment and my answers were not what I thought I would give. I told the men, “You know what? My dad was killed, and God was glorified and the church grew. Isn’t that my purpose?”'
(excerpt taken from the book 'Jesus Freaks' by DC Talk, page 281)
**** Roger gives a story from a heretic false man / author / Christian rapper. That same band had a man who recently admitted to much sexual sin as he was recently in a so called Christian band Newsboys. Roger cant be serious???? Not good at all folks......use scripture Roger NOT connections to sexual perverts for truth.
I'm a firm believer in the fact that if someone truly belongs to Jesus, they will never deny Jesus, because they CANNOT! Let’s look at another verse that talks about endurance.
**** More lies and confusion and is Roger OSAS after all? So a saint CANNOT deny Jesus? What verse says this anywhere? So a saint cannot sin, fall away or go into rebellion? Don't tell Paul that as he lost a brother in Demas to the world (2 Tim 4:10) and Peter talks about those who fall away and they cant be brought back again.
Mark 4:17 (KJV)
"[17] and have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended."
Notice the progression here: they became offended and only endured up to that point. Afterwards they CHOSE to be offended. The same is true when the Word of God was choked out by the cares and riches of this world. Here's that passage.
Mark 4:18-19 (KJV)
"[18] And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
[19] and the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful."
Again, a CHOICE was made to allow themselves to be distracted from Jesus.
**** Yes and scripture says ANY man can at ANY time choose to fall away into sin or unbelief or worldliness. (you and me) Paul even warned in Romans 11:21-22 you can be cut off.... if.... you fall back.
So, so far as enduring for salvation is concerned, I believe that I have conclusively shown that endurance for the true Christ-follower comes from God, just like everything else.
**** No sir. You did not give one verse that says that at all? It is NOT true as Jesus says strive to enter in Luke 13:24 and even Jude says keep yourself in the love of God! He helps us and we cannot do it alone but we MUST do!
And when it comes to works, you are probably thinking about James 2:24. Let’s look at that scripture.
James 2:24 (KJV)
"[24] Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only."
**** James agrees with Jesus (John 15 abiding in Him) and Paul that faith and works go together. Our saving faith is justified by our works then Jesus justifies us. Roger your bad theology makes a perverted mess of God's word and I fear for you.
Ok, now I want us to look at another verse, one that seems to contradict this one from James.
Romans 4:2 (KJV)
"[2] For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God."
This verse essentially says that Abraham was NOT justified by works, at least not before God. So, what is going on?
**** In Romans 4 Paul is talking about the works of the Torah Law. Today we obey and follow Christ in the NT ways not Torah law. Jesus even said to obey His commands to love Him John 14;15
As proof see Romans 3
Here's the deal. We are actually talking about two different justifications: one before God, and one before men. Paul addresses the issue of being justified before God while James is speaking of being justified before men.
**** Wrong again Roger. James 2:14 says it about salvation.
This is clearly demonstrated in Titus 3:8. Let’s look at that scripture.
Titus 3:8 (KJV)
"[8] This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men."
Notice that this verse says that good works are profitable 'unto men', NOT unto God.
**** No you were wrong about James 2 and this verse simply says good works are profitable unto men as in they are good and godly. But in that same chapter Paul says in verse 14 that lack of good works make us unfruitful. Jesus said in John 15 without fruit you get cut down and burned. Faith and works go together always so stop perverting scripture Roger! You think you will enter His kingdom unfruitful? Jesus and all of scripture says .... NO!
And Ephesians 2:8-10 tells us that salvation is not gained by works,
**** We are not saved by our good works but; by grace thru faith and that faith is obedient in good works. Here in Eph 5 Paul is warning about sin so we know saints can fall into it and be still lost.
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
3But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
4Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
5For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
7Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
8For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
9(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
but verse ten tells us that good works will naturally follow the individual who is saved. Let’s look at that scripture passage.
Ephesians 2:8-10 (KJV)
"[8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
[9] not of works, lest any man should boast.
[10] For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."
**** First you are not saved yet! Anyone who reads scripture with an ounce of God given discernment easily sees that Paul is saying we aren't saved by works on its own, no. It is by Christ via grace thru faith. But Jesus and Paul and all the godly men taught a saving faith is full of works and it obeys in holiness or you will be lost. Paul said he had to strive to finish in good works.
And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.
24Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
25And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
26I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
27
So, although it's definitely a good thing to work for God, a person can never be justified in the sight of God by works.
**** Wrong again Roger! While we are not justified solely by our works by themselves without Christ/ It is with Christ, via grace by a faith. But what faith? Faith that works and is justified by our works per James 2 / per Jesus Matthew 19;17 and Heb 11 that proves faith and works saves.
Know that I love you and I'm praying for you.
**** In truth Roger, I only see only lip service love by your fruit. I hope you stop teaching anyone, study better and repent of your false confusing theology that will damn you. If you do repent.... I am here to help you. If not it is a Titus 3:10 heretic situation and you have been warned so I must avoid you. Christ is King.....
